Welcome to the Armstrong Powerhouse where we strive for quality in all our products whilst retaining fair prices. In terms of the type of product we aim to create, we plan to mainly focus on sounds and scenarios for Rail Simulator and more recently RailWorks but do not rule us out trying anything different.
As well as our own endeavours, we are open to do work for other developers such as sound packs and scenarios. We have already proven ourselves by developing a working relationship with both RailSimulator.com & Just Trains in supplying sounds and scenarios. Following up from the January 2010 update of the Class 47 Sound Pack, we are pleased to announce the release of another update which improves the core engine sounds. Continuing our commitment to our customers, anyone who has previously bought this pack will be able to upgrade free of charge by either redownloading or if this is not possible, by requesting a copy using the Contact Us button to the left of this page. For those having any problems with the scenario supplied with the Class 50 sound pack, please redownload the pack and the problem should be fixed. Also, for those who are having trouble with the AP10: 18:41 Paddington - Bourne End scenario in the AP10 scenario pack, please redownload this and the problem should be solved.

One comment we frequently see about our recent scenario packs is that they fail to cater for those who have not purchased many payware pieces of stock. This changes today however as we begin to work through our most payware-intensive scenario packs and provide alternative lite versions with them which are identical to the standard ones except they use as little payware rolling stock as possible. The first scenario pack to receieve this treatment is the AP10 scenario pack. To find out more about this, click here.

We are pleased to announce the release of a brand new scenario pack for RailWorks. This pack focuses on the New Measurement Train, otherwise known as the NMT, which is a specially converted HST with its purpose being to assess the UK rail network. We are happy to announce the release of a brand new sound pack for RailWorks. This is for the class 37 locomotive, more specifically, the /9 sub-class which were re-engined with two types of engine in the late 1980s. Since the recent update of RailWorks, some flaws in the implementation of TPWS on the Newcastle to York (Modern) route became apparent which had affected the running of the scenarios in the AP7 & AP8 scenario packs. This problem has now been fixed so if you own either of these two packs, it is advised you re-download them to ensure you are not affected by these errors. Also, if you have experienced a problem where two Mk2s were missing in the AP7: 1Z25 10:08 York - Sunderland or AP7-8 5Z25 08:46 Tyne Yard - York scenarios then redownloading the extra stock for the relevant scenario pack should fix this problem.
