The Armstrong Powerhouse presents a Class 47 Sound Pack for the Class 47 supplied with RailWorks. This is the same as the Class 47 Sound Pack for Rail Simulator but has been made compatibile for RailWorks.
These sounds were professionally recorded from behind 47712 which include a selection of revving up sounds as well as the distinctive turbo sound at full throttle. It also features brand new sound fading effects where sound now fades in a realistic manner by not staying at the same volume within a 30m bubble as before and becoming too quiet too soon but fading as you would expect it to. During the installation process, these sounds will be applied to all Class 47s that you have in your RailWorks installation. Below is a video demonstrating the sounds:
As well the sounds, a high-quality scenario for the Paddington to Oxford route is included with a duration of around 40 minutes so you can test the sounds out. This scenario has all trains from the May - December 2008 Working Timetable implemented and are named with headcode, origin and destination so you can see where the train has come from!

Important Information - Railworks Compatibility Issue
Due to stricter rules on the editing of core default files in RailWorks, everytime RailWorks updates, it overwrites any edited core files which means this sound pack stops functioning. By buying this pack then, you accept that you will have to reinstall everytime RailWorks updates OR turn RailWorks updates off by going offline on Steam and only updating when you really have to.
