The Armstrong Powerhouse presents a Class 47 Sound Pack for the Class 47 supplied with Rail Simulator.
These sounds were professionally recorded from behind 47635 which include a selection of revving up sounds as well as the distinctive turbo sound at full throttle. During the installation process, these sounds will be applied to all Class 47s that you have in your Rail Simulator installation. Below is a video demonstrating the sounds, for copyright reasons, the sound quality is not as good as in game but it should give a good indication of this product:
As well the sounds, a high-quality scenario for the Paddington to Oxford route is included with a duration of around 40 minutes so you can test the sounds out. This scenario has all trains from the May - December 2008 Working Timetable implemented and are named with headcode, origin and destination so you can see where the train has come from!

Update for owners of this sound pack pre-13th January 2010
On 13th January 2010, this sound pack was updated with the following new sounds:
- New full throttle and turbocharger sound
- New horn
- Bogie run sounds
- Brake rub sounds
- Brake squeal
