The Armstrong Powerhouse presents the first in a range of scenario packs for Rail Simulator. AP1 offers something for everyone with a selection of traction from the HST and 166 to even the Black 5 for use on the Paddington to Oxford route. Please note, this is the same as the AP1 scenario pack for Rail Simulator but has been made compatibile for RailWorks.
Each scenario has all relevant trains from the May - December 2008 timetable but this isn't to say that the stock used represents this era. Some scenarios are based in the age of fully refurbished First Great Western HSTs whilst some are based in the transition period between the un-refurbished/Valenta HSTs and the refurbished/MTU ones. As well as this, each train has its headcode, time of leaving, origin and destination so you can see which train is which!
No scenario is the same and each one offers its own challenges; there's no such thing as a clear run with these. A brief outline of the scenarios can be had by clicking here.
This add-on is supplied in download format only.
All efforts have been made to ensure these scenarios work properly but there is a small possibility that one scenario may not work on a particular setup and if so we will try our best to fix it.
